The Best Praise Dance Songs for 2017

Hello praise dancers!

It is the day after Resurrection Sunday 2017 (at the time of this writing).

You have probably participated in plays and dances commemorating the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

It is a very special time of year.

This year we celebrated Passover and spent time with family as we do every year.

I want to update my list on the best praise dance songs. I wanted to do it for this year, 2017. So here it is.

Make sure you save this list on Pinterest. Click her to save.
Top 10 Praise Dance Songs According to YouTube
There is an actual list of top 10 songs from Billboard, which I will mention in a moment. However, YouTube has a way of displaying what everyday people consider to be the best or most popular. This list was researched according to all of the praise dance uploads in one year.

Interpreting Dance MovementsClick here to Pin this post on Pinterest.
Just as your words have power, so does your movements. It is important to realize the power that dance possesses. It has the power to move anyone to tears, and the power to make anyone feel uncomfortable. As dancers, we have the ability to tell stories with our bodies. At times we can become silent storytellers. As liturgical dancers, we have the power to convey the message of God. We have the ability to express worship through our dance, salvation, warfare, and peace.

While dance movements can be in various combinations to interpret a song or music, there are specific movements that liturgical dancers use that have Biblical meaning.

Bow When you bow you can bend at the waist with your head down, lay prostrate, or bend on one knee in a
lunge. Also, doing a plie will express the same message as a bow. In the Bible when someone was in the bowing position it was in reverence before the Lord. To bow means to worship…

How to Start a Liturgical Dance Ministry at Your Church

Starting a liturgical dance ministry is an awesome mandate. It is one that is not to be taken lightly. With much prayer and resources, you can build a liturgical dance ministry that brings glory to God and that is highly successful.

To begin a dance ministry you must have a passion for giving your gift of dance to the Lord. It is He that gave you the gift of dance. James 1:17 says "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." This is the foundation of beginning a liturgical dance ministry. In order to be able to fully give yourself to a ministry or even a commitment, you must have a passion for it. You must know that starting a dance ministry is right for you. You will be able to articulate and teach liturgical dance from your heart.
